Tim Berneiser is a PhD candidate working on deciphering the genetic and transcriptomic basis of myeloproliferative neoplasms, a group of rare blood cancers with limited treatment options. He is using computational genomics approaches to characterize genetic and non-genetic factors involved in disease development and progression. This project is a collaboration with Lars Bullinger’s group, funded through TARGET-MPN. Tim holds a master’s degree in biochemistry from Freie Universität Berlin.
